Pull up a loop of nut brown yarn in the last remaining front
loop of Rnd 4 of the head. Work the first stitch of the next
round in this stitch.

Try not to stuff the bottom part of the body too hard, keeping

Hold the body upside down and pull up a loop of brown yarn in
the first remaining front loop of Rnd 10. Work the first stitch of

ASSEMBLY
- Place the snout between the eyes, with the top edge
between Rnd 11 and 12 and the bottom edge touching the
body (picture 5). Sew the snout along the edge with a mattress stitch, stuffing it before you close the seam. - Place the ears on the head with the inner parts on Rnd 22 of
the head (picture 6).

- Sew the parts of the fringe between the ears with a ladder
stitch, along the dotted line (shown in picture 7). - Sew the manes with a ladder stitch, along the dotted line
(shown in pictures 8-9). Make longer stitches, pulling the
yarn through several stitches at once. Fasten off and weave
in the yarn ends. - Sew on the arms (standard version, page 16).
- Place the big part of the bridle around the snout and the
small parts on the sides of the head (picture 10). Sew the
touching points to the snout and sew the ends of the small
parts to the head. - Embroider steel blue stitches on the body between Rnd 7
and 8, using backstitches. - Embroider the sailboat on the body with pale red and gray
yarn (picture 10 and tutorial page 16). - Embroider small eyebrows on Rnd 14 of the head with black
sewing thread.
