**Place (or Sew) eyes, sew mouth, and attach cheeks now. Eyes will be placed in Row 17
at ST 14 and 22. Center/sew mouth between Rows 13/14. Attach cheeks outside lower
corner of each eye.
**If you are inserting a disposable cup as a gift holder I would
recommend sewing on the eyes as I did in the example provided
so the safety backs do not get caught on the cup.
Round 23: (1 Sc in next 12 ST, 1 Inc next ST) Repeat around. (42
Sc Made)
Round 24-27: 1 Sc in each ST around. (42 Sc Made, each round)
Round 28: 1 Sl ST around. (42 Sl ST around)
Finishing Details:
Row 23 Cup: Stitching Detail. With same color as cheeks weave yarn in and out, skipping
every other ST around.
*Since you are working in continuous rounds start in the very 1st ST of the row as it will not
align perfectly at the back of the cupThis was done for ease of the pattern.
If you are filling the cup with fiberfill, fill now and place either the lid or Frappe top
on. Secure with a few tack stitches around each side of the top.
I used a painted coffee stopper to decorate my latte cup. I used a colored paper
straw in the frappe cup)
