Base: I use a wooden disc and crochet a cover for it

 first, I crochet a flat circle (slightly bigger than my wooden disc),

 second, I make a round (or more if needed) without increases,

 then, I sew the doll onto the crocheted cover,

 finally, I glue the wooden disc to finish off the base.

Assembly: please, check pictures for guidance

 attach arms

 embroider nose between rounds 6 and 7 , counting from neck

 embroider eyes (round 7, counting from neck and 7sts apart)

 attach hair (cut yarn, attach in the middle

 of the head)

 attach hat (embroider straps, using end tail)

 blush cheeks, using soft pastel

 attach waistcoat and embroider ‘buttons’ with contrast wool

 attach collar

 sew the dolls onto crocheted base and glue

wooden disc under (I use all-purpose PVA glue)

I hope, you enjoyed making these dolls
