ASSEMBLY:
Pin muzzle in the center of the bottom of the head.
Sew muzzle around. When there is a small hole left, stuff it
with fiber filling and sew to the end.
KNITTED HAT:
I knitted hat Ribbing 2:2 (2 knit, 2
purl st).
First knit a sample out of 10 st
Ribbing.
Measure the sample. I’ve got 4 cm
width.
Measure moose’s head
circumference next. Mine is 15 cm.
In order to calculate how many
stitches to cast on, we need to do
following: 10 st of the sample
multiple by 15 cm of head
circumference and devide by 4 cm
(sample width). I’ve got around
37.5. In this case you need to round
so that the number is divisible by 4.
I rounded to 36.
Cast on 36 st on knitting needles
and knit around 20 rounds Ribbing
2:2.
In R21 make decreases of knit st.
That is P2, dec (K2 together)…
repeat to the end of the round.
R22-23 knit as previous round
without changes.
In R24 make decrease of purl st.
That is K1, dec (P2 together)…
repeat to the end of the rounds.
R25-26 knit the same way as R24.
Then fasten off stitches using the
needle and close the hole.
Hide yarn tail inside the detail.
Place the hat in the center of the head, pin it and sew
around to the head.
Sew arms on the sides of the body using thread joint. Previously secure them with pins.
Sew legs to the body the same way.
Mark place for eyes with the help of pins. Make the distance between the eyes so that the muzzle is in the middle.
Pull the thread a little bit when sewing eyes, so they get slightly deeper.
Embroider nose with black or brown thread in the form of crosses.
Remember, the thicker the thread, the rougher it turns out. That’s why I advise to use sewing thread, not yarn.
Cheeks:
Crochet with Red yarn 6 sc in MR, sl st in first st.
Cut the yarn leaving long tail and sew to the head around as shown on the photo.
Previously secure them with pins.
Then we will sew ears to the head.
Fold ear in half and make couple stitches.
Choose place for them on the
head, secure with pins and sew.
Sew horns next. Aslo secure them with pins before
sewing.
SCARF:
Cast on 6 st on knitting needles and knit stockinette stitch till the length 30-35 cm. Bind off stitches.
Dress up our moose

Base:
Crochet with Yellow cotton yarn, hook 1,5 mm R1: 6 sc in MR

R3: (1 sc, inc) х 6 (18)
R4: (2 sc, inc) х 6 (24)
R5: (3 sc, inc) х 6 (30)
R6-8: 30 sc
R9: (4 sc, inc) х 6 (36)

When there is a small hole left, stuff the cup with fiber filling.
Embroider chocolate chips with Brown thread on top of the detail.
