MATERIALS
Bernat® Pipsqueak™ (3.5 oz/100 g; 120 yds/109 m) Baby Blue (59128) 2 balls Set of four size 5.5 mm (U.S. 9) double-pointed knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Stuffing. Small amount of Black yarn for eyes and nose embroidery.

MEASUREMENT
Approx 14” [35.5 cm] long.

GAUGE
11 sts and 16 rows = 4” [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
Head

Cast on 6 sts. Divide sts onto 3 needles (2 sts on each needle). Join in rnd, placing marker on first st. 1st rnd: (Kfb) 6 times. 12 sts. 2nd and alt rnds: Knit. 3rd rnd: (Kfb. K1) 6 times. 18 sts. Knit 4 rnds even. Place marker on last rnd.
Next rnd: Kfb in each st around. 36 sts. Knit even in rnds until work from marked rnd measures 2” [5 cm].
Beg Head decs: 1st rnd: *K4. K2tog. Rep from * around. 30 sts.
2nd and alt rnds: Knit.
3rd rnd: *K3. K2tog. Rep from * around. 24 sts. Stuff Head.
5th rnd: *K2. K2tog. Rep from * around. 18 sts.
7th rnd: *K1. K2tog. Rep from * around. 12 sts.
9th rnd: *K2tog. Rep from * around. 6 sts. Break yarn leaving a long end. Stuff rem of Head. Thread end through rem sts and secure tightly.

Body
Work from ** to ** as given for Head.
4th and alt rnds: Knit.
5th rnd: (Kfb. K2) 6 times. 24 sts.
7th rnd: (Kfb. K3) 6 times. 30 sts.
9th rnd: (Kfb. K4) 6 times. 36 sts. Knit even in rnds until piece from beg measures 6” [15 cm].
Next rnd: *K4. K2tog. Rep from * around. 30 sts.
Next rnd: Knit.
Next rnd: *K1. K2tog. Rep from * around. 20 sts. Cast off. Stuff Body.

Legs (make 2).
Work from ** to ** as given for Head. 18 sts. Knit even in rnds until Leg measures 6½” [16.5 cm]. Cast off. Stuff Legs.

Arms (make 2).
Work from ** to ** as given for Head. Knit even in rnds until Arm measures 5” [12.5 cm]. Cast off. Stuff Arms.

Ears (make 2).
Cast on 6 sts. Divide sts onto 3 needles (2 sts on each needle). Join in rnd, placing marker on first st.
1st rnd: Kfb in each st around. 12 sts.
2nd to 5th rnds: Knit. Cast off.

Tail
Cast on 6 sts. Proceed in stocking st until work from beg measures 2” [5 cm], ending with a purl row. Cast off loosely. Stitch yarn loosely around outer edge of piece and gather to form Tail.

Finishing
Sew Head to Body. Sew Tail to back of Body. Sew Ears in position. Sew Legs and Arms to Body. With black embroidery floss, embroider Nose, using satin stitch. Embroider Eyes, using straight stitch.
