Today, the new daily crochet pattern Amigurumi Aimee Doll Free Crochet Pattern, I want to give you some information about this pattern;
Instructions: All parts are knitted continuously in
pyramids, unless otherwise noted. Using
specified materials, the size of the Aimee chrysalis with
head to toe is 7.25 inches or 18.5 cm.

Head (beige)
Starting from the top
Rnd 1: 7 sc in magic ring [7]
Rnd 2: 7 increments [14]
Rnd 3: (sc, inc) x 7 [21]
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 7 [28]
Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x 7 [35]
Rnd 6: (4 sc, inc) x 7 [42]
Rnd 7-16: 42 sc [42]
Rnd 17: (5 sc, dec) x 6 [36]

Insert eyes between 12 and 13 rows. Between them 8
loops. Keep your eyes closed just yet.
Let’s fix the hair. I used yarn
sand color.
Step 1:
Mark the contour of the hair with a contrasting cotton thread
(as shown in pictures 1 and 2 in pink). Front
forehead hairline between rows 7 and 8 and length 14
loops. The back hairline at the back of the head is
between rows 14 and 15.
Step 2:
Cut the yarn to the length of hair you want. I have pieces of yarn
37 cm long. I wound the yarn around the book,
which is about half of the desired hair length.
Step 3:
Attach the hair to the head of the first worker
around the marked hairline, then
move towards the middle. I attached strands hair, as shown in photos.
Paste hook through stitch.
Pull yarn through stitch with your crochet.
After the yarn has been pulled out through your loop get two ends of yarn.
Once you are satisfied with the placement of your hair, turn your head inside out. Pictures give you an idea of how I placed hair. Since my yarn is quite thick and heavy, I did not put too many threads on head. How much you add depends on the thickness the yarn you are using.
I usually have two strands of yarn through each stitch hole along the hairline, but reduce its down to one when i work my way to middle of the head. To lighten the weight of the head after adding yarn, I also skip lines.
STEP 4:
Once all of your hair strands have been placed, turn your head inside out as shown in figure, and use fabric glue to fastening each thread of yarn in the head.
When the glue is dry (I always leave it overnight)
turn your head in the right direction and your
the hair is now all attached!
When the hair is attached, embroider a few
eyelashes with black thread, as shown in the picture.
Once you are happy with the position of your lashes, you
you can fasten the backs of the protective eyes.
Then, using the same yarn as for the head, sew a small nose in 2 stitches between rows 13 and 14 of the head, as shown in the picture.
Now to finish the head we continue

Fill
Rnd 20: dec x 10 [10]
Rnd 21: dec x 5. , slst [5]
After 21 rows, collect the loops on the needle and pull off
hole. Cut the thread and fasten off. the end
hide the threads.

Stuff your legs while knitting.
Leg 2 (right)
Repeat all the same until the 20th row, but the thread does not
cut, continue to knit the body

one direction forward.
Rnd 1: Start with leg 2.
Cast on 3 ch, sc in 1 leg and 6 sc in the leg.

Dress (blue)
Starting from the top
Dial 18 ch. , close the ring slst.
For the dress, each sl st and ch st does not contribute to
the final stitch count. I find it helps for the remaining
rounds to use stitch markers to mark both the first and
last stitches of each round.
Rnd 1: ch 2 17 dc sl-st in 1 st [18]
Rnd 2: ch 2 dc in the same loop, ex. dc (dc, inc) x 8 [27]
Rnd 3: sc in the first loop, 2 sc 6 ch 6 loops skip, 8 sc, 6 ch and 6 loops skip, 4 sc, sl-st in 1 loop [27]
Rnd 4: ch 2 dc in 1 loop, inc. dc next. loop, (dc, inc, dc) x 12, dc. slst in 1 loop dc [40]
Rnd 5: ch 2 dc in the same loop, 2 dc, inc, dc (dc, inc) x 9. slst [50]
Rnd 6-8. 2 in. dc in the same loop, 49 dc. slst [50]
Rnd 9: ch 3, sc in same st, skip 1 st.
HAIRSTYLE
You can style Aimee’s hair the way you want.
Like! Here’s how I did it.
Using the strand of yarn you used for hair, tie a few strands of yarn in front to create a sidebar.
Pull the rest of Aimee’s hair into a high ponytail. Loosen a few threads by pulling slightly them to create movement in the hair. Position the fringe from the drawing so that it sits as shown here, and secure your hair with elastic bands.
ASSEMBLY
- Attach hands between rows 13 and 14 of the body, 6 inches in front.
- Put the dress on the doll’s body.
- Sew the body to the head.
- Cut out two circles of pink felt with a diameter about 6mm and use fabric glue to attach to row 14 right behind the eyes for pinks Aimee’s cheeks.
- Tie a hair band around Aimee’s ponytail.
